INTRODUCING THE NORMATEC MVP

The NormaTec MVP ("Most Valuable Pump") is an FDA-cleared, state-of-the-art Pneumatic Compression Device. Multi-segment inflatable boots or sleeves are placed around the limbs and rhythmically inflated and deflated to carefully prescribed pressures. Stagnant fluid in the affected limb is promptly mobilized via the patented Peristaltic Pulse pneumatic waveform.

Unlike other simple intermittent compression strategies, the NormaTec MVP provides software-controlled, precisely calibrated dynamic pneumatic compression that mimics normal physiology to help athletes recover quickly from work-outs, injuries, and surgery.

BIO-MIMICRY AT ITS BEST

The Peristaltic Pulse compression strategy dynamically decongests engorged tissues. This unique pneumatic waveform simulates normal physiology, incorporating the critical concepts of:

• pulsing compression as seen in the "muscle pump" of the limb
• directionality of flow as seen in venous and lymphatic one-way valves
• distal release as seen in peristalsis

Through these mechanisms the NormaTec MVP gently but effectively forces fluid from edematous tissues, dramatically and rapidly reducing swelling and induration.

FULLY PROGRAMMABLE AND CUSTOMIZABLE

The NormaTec MVP's unique treatment parameters -- Pulse Pressure, Pulsing Time and Rest Time -- are easily programmable, permitting independent segment control and complete compression customization for your athletes' specific conditions.

A pre-treatment inflation sequence automatically inflates each segment sequentially, custom-forming the boot or sleeve to fit the limb shape perfectly.
